THING 10 - WIKI
C. Reflect - Blog Prompts for Thing 10
Describe a wiki you found that inspires you to create one of your own.
I found a wiki describing HOW TO DO VIBRATO on the violin. I have seen VIDEOS of how to vibrate on the violin. I can see a wiki site as a 'meeting place' where I can post 'things to remember about the violin' as it relates to playing/practicing violin.
What hurdles might stand in the way of your using a wiki? Firstly, not everyone HAS a computer, much less on line, or otherwise.
What would it take to remove the hurdles?Be that as it may, they will be inspired to go to the library, if they have to, to participate.
Is it worth the fight? of COURSE it's worth the fight. I am on the phone with a friend (as I type this) who is asking me why I would want to do this and why would SHE want a blog or wiki. Yes! Continuing education, learning new things, and I like doing this! I have a purpose and would create one if I didn't

THING #9:LANSING 2008 .Pictured here with Honorable Aldo Vagnozzi

I was excited that the The SHOW WENT ON (without me). That's because the students were WELL prepared and under the direction of Myra Prueter, the vocal teacher (extrodinaire) from Schulze Elementary and the WONDERFUL (couldn't do this without you) love and guidance of the parents, the students were WELL received in LANSING, the STATE CAPITAL OF MICHIGAN.
THING 8
I can't wait to change my title (here) using FLICKR SPELLING!
I enjoy using color and different fonTs and now, being able to add texture is exciting.
The notes I send home to parents are colorful and I use different shapes to draw attention to certain key items.
I know that the students are going to LOVE using these tools.
